What the hell is “Copr Choppers”?
The term “Copr” (pronounced 'copper') was created and developed through Tony’s history. After being discharged from the Marine Corp, Tony immediately was hired by his local law enforcement agency. Tony is now a Sergeant in Patrol within the Denver Police Department.
Tony was raised around motorcycles since childhood. His dad (Abel) owned a few choppers when he was a kid. His father was cool enough to allow him to race dirt bikes when Tony was about 12 years old. Tony’s most valuable tool in his shop is his father. His Dad was a master machinist and mechanic by trade. Tony was fortunate enough to have these skills passed down to him. Tony owns his own machine shop with his father at his side. Make no mistake about it, Tony enjoys being a cop and helping people at critical moments in their lives, and at this point, law enforcement is still a huge part of his life and dreams. As for Copr Choppers, it's here to stay and it has been steadily growing over time.
Tony began Copr Choppers in March 2005 and as you can see from his recent projects, "Project Blade, Kong, Groundpounder, and Phat Azz", he is no ordinary builder. Tony’s choppers stand in a class all by themselves as one of a kind. The key to Tony’s success is that he spends more quality time on one bike than the average builder. It will not leave his shop until he is confident that the bike will do very well in any show across the US. If Tony takes you on as a customer, all other requests have to wait. He is not interested in mass production. "Copr Choppers" is unique in that when you start mass producing bikes as a company, you jeopardize customization and quality. “Copr Choppers" is nothing but pure customization and exquisite quality. Everything on a Copr Chopper is original as Tony machines his own parts and fabricates everything from scratch including his own gas tanks, fenders, and handlebars, and billet accessories.
Tony’s success up to now has gained him the Colorado Biker Build Off Championship title 2 years in a row (undefeated). He has also won a four state build off against 3 great builders from New Mexico , Arizona and Texas.
What's Next?
Wait until you see the new bagger creation called "KAOZ". Tony was so crazy that he purchased a brand new bagger. With only 15 miles on the bike, he chopped, raked, and stretched the frame. He then remodified 95% of the entire bike. Sturgis picked this bike for a full exclusive to be featured in American Bagger magazine. This is a true Harley Davidson "One Off" full custom motorcycle. You can see it under the project tab on the home page.
Just imagine what we can create for you...
